Hi! i am a junior international transfer, yet i heared that little credit was transferable...then i may start with sophomore even freshman..so i wonder the average age ,coz it bugged me being with people all younger than me...or this problem means minor in the US...and thank for your suggestion....

As with any US university you are going to find that most freshman are 18 to 19, sophomores 19 to 20, etc. There are a decent number of older students such as veterans who start college after time in the service, those who just waited a couple years before beginning college, others. If you live in the regular residence halls on campus you will find that most there are freshman or sophomores, although there are still a number of upper classmen to be found. Most juniors and seniors move on to appartments off-campus or they are in the certified private residence halls. Though your 100 level and 200 level courses are mostly freshman and sophomores, you do actually find juniors and seniors in many of them often because they need the course to graduate and could not take it because of scheduling problems freshman or sophomore year.
