I am taking my first ACT test on June 13th.. What's a good ACT review book? Any tips I should know? My friends said the ACT is A LOT easier than the SAT(1700 March) so I'm going to give it a go..

Look around the forums… there’s around 100 posts about this every week (btw, most recommend PR and The Real ACT [red book])

Want a 30 or up? Willing to study for a month or over? Get Barron’s.

Need less than 30? Want to start studying a couple of weeks before? Get PR.

PR is better worded and has more realistic practice tests. However, it will only teach the points on the act that will be tested nearly everytime. It will leave out information that gets tested rarely but needed to make a 30+ score.

Barron’s is like high school in a book. TONS of info. I prefer having both, but if I had to have just one, I’d have Barron’s. I have no experience with Kaplan books, but people tend to like those as well.

the Real ACT is good for your first book…it’s the only book from the makers of the ACT and the practice tests are the most realistic you’ll be able to get
