What's the Best Anyone's Done?

What's the most anyone's improved on the SAT I?, on CC or in other places
?

i improved 220 points... but thats low compared to some

When I first took the SAT during a Kaplan practice exam, I scored 1700 (yes, out of 2400). One and a half years later, on the real exam, I scored 2250. I personally believe that as long as you practice enough (and have potential), you can do well on the SAT.

How long should one practice to raise a 2000 to a 2200?

it's not about length...it's about howhard you study and how much potential u have.

I stayed exactly the same, but the scores all changed so my composite went up

I raised my score from a 1350/1600 to a 2220/2400...not too shabby but I studied hard. Math is my weakness, so focus on yours as well.

i only took it once, so i guess zero?

I did my math with 790 at the first time (old format), however I did 700 at the second time.

CR first time 410, second time 440
Writing... recently 390.

Yes I always think CR is very difficult... things like picking the currect words are the most tricky... and those comprehension passages are extemely difficult (At least for me... as I think I'm trying very hard on all 3 papers)

Combined just 1530/2400... pretty average... most of you seems very smart at SAT I here.

I improved 90 points (from a 2030 - 2120) without studying, so I think there's the factor of just being familiar with the test and trying to be as relaxed as possible, which I was the second time around. I'm hoping with some more studying I can improve more, to maybe a 2200 or something.

1570 to 2050 without much preparation. I'm now aiming for 2300 by the end of the summer.
