What's the best combination?

I really want to major in communications/media studies/public relations or business, because I eventually want to work for a company in the entertainment industry. I want to do business/project development for a tv show, movie, or something of that nature.

I think I want to major in communications, but I feel business may be a better option for my future career. So what seems most logical? Business or Communications?

Also what are some colleges that are not extremely hard to get into for these areas?

I looked at Penn State UP and loved it! Plus i'm a PA resident.

I'd major in media studies, with a minor in something creative. It makes the most sense. You're studying something directly related to what you want to do.

Taking a few business classes may help, but honestly, I don't think you'd need an actual degree in it.

EDIT: I just checked. PSU has a media studies major, and they also offer a minor in Film Studies, which could be another good idea (I think it focuses on the more theoretical side of the industry).

I just wanted to double major because everyone says its very hard to get somewhere wi th a communication degree.
