<p>I have an HP dv7, and I would honestly say that I would never buy an HP laptop again. </p>
<p>The battery life is an issue, it lasts maybe 1 hour unplugged. It overheats way too frequently (to the point where it shuts itself off), if I have a single video stream (hulu, etc…) a couple of word documents and a few browser tabs open. (4 GB of ram).</p>
<p>I think I am going with a macbook pro next, as I would love to not have my laptop plugged in, and I could get 8gb of ram, a better processsor (i5 or i7) for less (With a good discount).</p>
