I have a friend who is going to be at Georgetown while I am at GW next year, Georgetown doesn't have a metro stop whats the best way to get up to the other U, walking? Public buses? is there a shuttle from Foggy Bottom?

Walking isn't too bad. Also, there's a $1 shuttle that leaves from the Foggy Bottom metro stop every 10-15 minutes that brings you pretty close to the Georgetown campus.

I took the bus - it brings you within 5 blocks of the Georgetown campus.

Get really good grades during your freshman year, perhaps get one or two letters of recommendations if possible, join a couple of clubs to cushion the application, don't drink too much, and then transfer. That is how you can get to Georgetown from geee-dubbeeya--YOU!

I was talking about transportation wise moron

Relax, it was a joke. Wow, so these are the GWU prospects, huh? Nice.

Hanks555 if you can't take those kind of jokes then you seriously don't belong at GW (Georgetown Waitinglist).

I have a friend at Georgetown, and my friends and I generally walk to visit. I also used to work there. Along M it's really not too far.
