Hey everybody,
I just wanted to ask those of you with experience, what is the best way to study for the GRE so I can get the highest scores possible. I am starting to study today and will be taking the GRE in exactly two months (9/16/13). Thank you so much in advance for your help :)

I’m taking my exam in about a week, but so far this is what I’ve found useful.

Download Power Prep at The GRE Tests and take your first diagnostic test to get a sense of your weaknesses and what you should be focusing on in your prep.

For high scores in quant, the best guides in the market are Manhattan GRE and Nova GRE Math Prep. A purchase of any of manhattan’s strategy guides comes with online access to 6 GRE mock tests.

For more quant practice you can purchase manhttan’s 5lb book of problems or try magoosh.com for more online qbank practice.

For verbal, if you are a native speaker, my best advice would be to read as much as possibe and take as many mock tests to improve your mental stamina for the exam. Cramming word lists in two months may be counterproductive and may not really do much to boost your score.

Though I agree that cramming wordlists(like those given in barrons) wont help but i certainly think that doing around 600-800 words is a must for the GRE otherwise you will have a tough time in SE and TC questions…For verbal, i found gre verbal grail to the best…covers RCs especially quite well…
i think that taking 7-8 practice CATs should be good to set you on the way to a good GRE score provided you have worked on your concepts before taking the CATs.
