<p>Isn’t the logical answer the 25 composite since it’s the higher of the two? I could understand if you had the same composite but different subscores, then I would suggest sending the one with the subscores related to your interests/potential major. In this case, I’d say 25 because it’s the higher of the two.</p>
<p>If you are determining which to send, you should send both. The first one may have the higher composite but there are a number of colleges that consider the math and English sections the more important and it is often difficult to determine which colleges those actually are (examples, Gtech and Rose-Hulman use ONLY the math and English sections and ignore everything else: composite, reading and science and writing score). Also, colleges that actually do conversions of scores from ACT to SAT or vice versa, usually use the math and CR section of the SAT and the math and English section of the ACT to do so. Moreover, though it is a minority, there are colleges that superscore ACT tests, meaning they use for admission the highest section scores from mutltiple tests.</p>
