What's the Cheapest University at US for International Students?

Thanks mom2collegekids for your honest and detailed answer. In all, how much would be the total cost for doing an MBA in America? Do you know of any universities that are at least cheap?

Globalquest, the Univ of South Dakota runs around $450 per credit hour for tuition and fees. You would then need to add on housing etc which adds up fast.

I know the U of Wyoming has an accelerated MBA program which you can complete in 16 months or so but that runs around $20,000 per year (tuition plus room and board).

Thanks proudwismom, i’ll really check out my options before attempting the move.

I need a very cheap tuition university in florida that can give me a post graduate admission

Hi,
Can you send me a list of cheap universities in the US with spring intake for international students.I am looking for a university that can waive the application fee or which is free, which does not require the GMAT if possible and which also offers scholarships.I intend to study as a postgraduate student

hi . im an international student and looking for a college in US, with a budget of $20,000- $25,000( including all costs ) . i want to study liberal arts with majors in psychology .

This is a good table, listing the costs of all US colleges –

[Cheapest Colleges (Total Cost, Out of State) | College Stats.org](http://collegestats.org/colleges/all/lowest-outofstate-cost)

Or, College confidential speak,

Sorry, however, these are not MBA programs. But, perhaps, the relative cost basis tracks into any associated MBA program (that is, the cheaper the college, the cheaper the MBA).

hi everyone,

I’m currently doing my Bsc. architecture and planning to go to U.S for my masters. but the excellent schools are vary expensive and I’m afraid if I get accepted by any chance, and not be able to get scholarships, what should I do?? my GPA is 3.10 but i have quiet satisfying resume and portfolio. for an International student, expenses are much higher in U.S apparently, so, can you guys suggest me some good universities( not community colleges) that offer MA. arch accredited by NAAB and somehow cheap? thanks a lot in advance guys!

The NAAB publishes a list of “NAAB-Accredited Architecture Programs in the United States” (including M.Arch. programs). Google for it.

Many schools offering accredited M.Arch. programs are public universities.
Public universities typically do not offer financial aid to international students, unless one is a permanent resident. Here, for example, is guidance from the University of Washington:
[Financial Aid | UW Department of Architecture](http://arch.be.washington.edu/admissions/financial-aid)

Private universities generally are quite expensive. At the Yale School of Architecture, the total cost of the M.Arch. program in the first year is over $60,000. Costs are similar for Masters Degree programs at the University of Southern California (another private school with a NAAB-accredited M.Arch. program). Here is information on financial aid for international students at the Yale School of Architecture:
[International Students | YSOA | Yale School of Architecture](<a href=“Home - Yale Architecture”>Home - Yale Architecture)

Typically, the private schools with the most generous financial aid are also the most selective. I don’t know if a 3.1 GPA would be enough to get you into Yale, for example (maybe it would be if your portfolio is outstanding). The University of Hartford is another private university with a NAAB-accredited M.Arch. program. For 2012-13, a full time graduate student in Architecture at Hartford can expect to pay $20,200.00 in tuition and required university fees. Housing, travel, and other costs might add another $15,000 per year or more if you are living on campus or renting a nearby apartment. Financial Aid for international graduate students at the University of Hartford is limited to Graduate Assistantships, according to their web site ([University of Hartford International Students](International - University of Hartford))

I recommend you talk to an advisor at your school who is familiar with opportunities in the USA for international graduate students of architecture. This forum has an undergraduate focus; you may not get responses from people familiar with the special issues you raise.

Hello. Give me suggestion pls which university is the most affordable for international students in California ? Which is the cheapest one ?

Cheapest is community college then a transfer to a California State campus. They all are similarly priced, though may vary somewhat depending on location. All the information is online.

Hi. I am also interested in cheap universities in California for international students. Give me suggestions please. Look forward to your reply :)

If your family makes under 65K, Pomona and Stanford will most likely cover the entire cost of tuition, room, and board for you with just grant money and a minimal work study. However, neither school is need blind for international students, and thus the process is more competitive. This is on top of the fact that both are among the most selective schools in the country for regular applicants.

Actually , am from jordan , finished Accounting major , and i want to continue my education with MBA so i dont know any universities there in USA , i want a university that is good and cheap at the same time , any suggest !!

[Businessweek - School Finder](<a href=“Bloomberg - Are you a robot?”>Bloomberg - Are you a robot?)

Try various program ranking and the program cost settings.
The cheapest of the top 15 business schools is Indiana/Kelly at $91K for non-resident tuition.
The cheapest of the top 30 is Texas A&M at $46K for non-resident tuition.
The cheapest of the top 60 is the University of Illinois at $34K for non-resident tuition.

The University of Central Arkansas shows up in the list of all schools at $12,575 for non-resident tuition. That appears to be about as cheap as it gets for the listed US schools. Don’t forget, you have to add room, board, travel, etc. That might be another $15K or more per year.

i heard about ashlan university in ohio that costs 14k $ per year with room ,

and southern newhampshare newhampshere costs 17k $ per Year with room ,

but dunno whos better ,
can u help me with that ?

thx alot

A job well done to all the people that have used their precious time in contributing to this topic. I took my time to read, search and assimilate some of the suggestions been given out here. May the good Lord bless you richly. My question is this; If after getting admission into a college or Uni of about $12k-$15k including room and board. If I was able to get the total expenses for the first year, will I be able to argument myself out over there for the subsequent years tuition and fee without getting any help from home because it is not forthcoming? Please I need your sincere contribution and answers before embarking on the journey. Thanks once again to you all.

Unless you work illegally, no.

Thanks. But can you please tell me more about kind of works that are tagged illegal over there? hope it is not involving in a crime? What advise can you give me in this situation? Thanks.

I’m not going to be complicit in helping someone work illegally in the US. Just stay in Jordan if you cannot afford the costs.
