While at pole vault practice I went up but didn’t swing do I was stuck in te air. Luckly I maneuvered myself so that the pole bent almost into a C and flung me to the floor, instead of snapping while 10+ feet in the air, thrown into a fence, or land on the hard pit.

When I asked out a guy and got rejected. ;_; loljk, I would never do that. The other way around probably be far more mortifying.

A lot of you seem to have almost drowning

Once, my friend forced me to go in a toy trunk and she closed the lid. I was in there for 2 minutes and was suffocating. Finally, someone heard me screaming and helped me out. I have been claustrophobic ever since.

My heart stopped when I was very little, but I don’t think that counts.

I guess I don’t have one…

I was unscrewing a lightbulb when I was like 8. Squeezed too hard and broke it. I got electrocuted but just kind of got up and was like “What just happened?”

When I go into some sections of the city, I sometimes wonder if I will make it out alive.

And every day is one day closer to death.

was swimming in the pool when some (larger) bullies thought it would be nice to try and drown me. i don’t know what i did to them b/c i was only in 2nd grade. T_T

I was really young and I was at a campground by a lake with my mom and my grandparents…I was probably like 4 or 5 maybe? and I was playing in the mud by the lake when a windstorm started up. Branches were blowing everywhere and trees fell, I almost got hit but my mom grabbed me and we ran to hide out in the brick bathroom building. For a while I was terrified whenever I saw trees moving even a little bit in the wind

mine’s kinda lame compared to a lot of the others haha

When I was 11 I was friends with this girl and her family who worked for my parents. Anyways, I wanted to go have a sleepover with her and wanted to stay the night at her house but my parents told me that they wouldn’t be able to pick me up the next day. The next day I turned on the News and the Breaking Story was that my friend’s Father had killed her, her sister, her brother, and himself last night. I was beyond shocked. I think god that I’m still alive today but I do miss my friend. A lot…

Whoooaaa I think that’s the only murder one.

WHOOAAA…^^ That is crazy! Thank god u didnt go.

I had a kidney stone in 7th grade…

wasn’t close to dying, but I did pee out a rock.

Car accident. Broke a few ribs. The seat opposite of mine was damaged pretty badly, and had I been sitting there, my injuries could have been a lot worse.

I nearly drowned. I have never been swimming in a large body of water ever since, nor shall I ever again visit.

Choking on a penny when I was a toddler.

Nearly kidnapped by a possible sex offender, who will most likely murder me, when I was a toddler.

Tried to hang myself when I was a toddler.

Almost hit by a car while riding my bike.

Almost drowned.

(First three, I don’t even remember those events, so I was not conscious of my actions.)

3… you were one creepy toddler.

and i have a feeling the fates have just thought it’s your time for a while now.

In a water tube ride at Disney when I was 7, I was too small/short for it but the guy let me through. I fell through the center of the tube and got trapped underwater, and I could barely get any air. Some lifeguard guy eventually saw me flailing and helped me out. I probably was nowhere close to dying, but at age 7 everything seems a lot more scary.

Also, when I was younger I didn’t understand that sticking a metal knife into plugged in toasters was dangerous, and I did it everyday to get my toast out. I don’t know how I never got shocked :)

When I was roughly three years old, I snuck into the kitchen and tried to open a sealed bag of food. I didn’t have the hand strength to open it yet, but I was just tall enough to reach up to the kitchen counter and take a steak knife. I tried to stick the knife in and then pull the bag apart, but once I applied enough force my hands just flew apart. Unfortunately my right hand, which was holding the knife, flew directly into my right eye. I was then in the hospital for almost two weeks, my right eye blinded, and just about an inch away from stabbing myself in the brain.

This also happened to be my earliest memory, so everything else after that wasn’t quite so bad. Also, I had a few near misses with Grey Hound busses.
