wow i guess my school is pretty boring…last year we were told to remain in school until further notice because there was a bear running lose on the grounds…guess it was a pretty ferocious bear :)

-During pep rallies, eggs and toilet paper are thrown.
-Girl fight in cafeteria… weave yanked from one girl’s head.
-National Pot Day; tons of people started smoking pot. One person actually smoked during chemistry.

Other stupid things happen on a regular basis. My school blows.

LMAO. I remember seeing that. Your school is infamous for that…kind of.

^^ Well now that we won state in hockey people don’t remember it anymore.

^ Lol, that reminds me of what happened last year at the capitol. Do you remember that kid that went to my school that defaced the governor’s portrait with permanent marker? That was all over the local headlines for some time, haha.

People have spray painted bad things about students of the school on the wall. Students from another school have TP’d most of the trees on the property. A trash can was set on fire… an epic food fight occurred.

we beat a team in girls basketball 100-0, and then it got on the local and eventually national news. ESPN snuck onto our campus and good morning america was outside of our gate. eventually, our basketball coach was fired. Ah, the most exciting year so far (among other things that have occurred at my private school).

^ I remember that news story, they made you look like *******s just for being talented.

yeah. we didnt win state though, which was a disappointment. but they made the other team seem like kids in wheelchairs. needless to say, i had a bunch of people (not just in the US) call me a jerk (and i didnt even play on the team this year!) The weirdest part was having reporters peering into our classrooms with big cameras from outside the fence! and the ones who kept trying to stop our cars. i think i lost some scholarships because of this event.

A teacher banging his students is pretty much the extent of it.

Wow you go to that 100-0 school? I heard about that all the way in Minnesota. The coach definitly shouldn’t have been fired for the other team’s suckyness.

^Yeah seriously, the coach shouldnt have been fired, thats a little too far. At my school, we have lost football games 0-60 countless, countless times, and we all joke about it anyway.

A kid at my school makes a hit-list and gets kicked out, but since he was in special ed it was only for 2 weeks. After coming back to school, later in the year after Obama is Elected he sends a death threat to the White House and the FBI shows up. He did eventually get permanently kicked out though.

I heard about that. He shouldn’t have been fired.

yeah, well the winning was not the reason he was fired. he was fired for disagreeing with the school’s apology. And yeah, it was a big controversy at the school. the school admins got like death threats and such. and GMA was calling people at home. basically, we got nothing done for a week. and the attention only stopped because of a snowstorm that hit dallas.

I remember hearing about the disagreement thing, and him posting his view online, and I still thought it was kind of annoying.

Him being fired for insubordination was the correct move, but i dont think that we should have called us winning “shameful” - the girls, whom i am very close with considering i played with several of them for 3 years, were hurt deeply. the school basically insulted them and called them shameful.

I spent a year at a boarding school in France. The best year of my life!

There was this reaaally dumb kid who got lost in the woods (the school was in the Alps) Lots of police, dogs, and helicopters involved … really interesting. They found him almost dead of hypothermia the next morning (he spent the WHOLE night in the woods. It was snowing)

The good thing, that night we all “waited for him anxiously” in the main living room, so all the students slept together and some even brought drinks. Lots of fun.

A house next to the school burned down one night at 3 a.m. That same freaking night, the girls had all slept in with some kind of beauty mask on their faces, so when we were evacuated, they still had it on. They looked like aliens. Aliens in their undies.
So yeah, it was 3 a.m, we were terribly tired and didnt know *** was going on.
We couldnt even breathe, and the guys were freaking out watching most of the girls with those freakish mascaras. We slept the night at another boarding school, and met other students. Awesome.

We used to ski like three times a week. One day, two guys got lost skiing and they had a terrible accident. We never saw them again, but they supposedly went back home.

aaand finally

Let’s just say that the school was reaaally messed up. Lots of rich kids who literally bought their grades (I was so ****ed off, I was the only one studying), a student slept with a teacher, and all the students smoked pot (this is a funny story. There was this reaaally old man (I’d say in his 80s) living near the school, and every time he had “stuff available” he would wink at us.)

This just happened like a month ago:

For AP Bio we had to do the fruit fly lab where we breed fruit flies. We kept the fruit flies in a vial and in each are ALOT of fruit flies like hundreds. We had like four vials because there are two bio classes. In addition to two bio classes my teacher also teaches a remedial class for people who failed the standardized test and will not graduate until they pass. Well one day my teacher was out, two of the gangster guys or as we called them “fruit fly terrorists” in that class stole all the vials and released the flies in the cafeteria. They were everywhere! It was disgusting because it was in our foods and flying into our mouths. Gross! They got suspended, fortunately but denies having anything to do with it.

We’ve had a lot of good stuff… I was ‘fortunate’ enough to be involved in one thing hah. Our psychology teacher was driving me and two of my friends to a school function and once we got there she told me to stay in the car when my two friends got out and she waited for them to go up to the ticket line at the museum we were at and she started coming on to me, it was a barrel of laughs

Another time someone tried to burn our school down and call in a bomb threat in the same day. They got us out of school for the entire day so I guess I thank them for that.

We also had a huge 40 person brawl in the foyer of our school and one of the gangs involved in the fight had like 12 AK-47s in the trunk of their car parked in the parking lot. I love my school…
