<p>eh, i don’t really notice it. sure, there definitely are a good amount of gays…but definitely a ton of straight guys for to choose from. no worries</p>

<p>Well, there’s a saying around here: either a guy is gay, or Jewish. While that’s not statistically true, it’s a humorous stereotype.</p>
<p>GW has a fairly large, active gay community.</p>
<p>As for traditional dating, I wouldn’t say that we have it. Sure, people date, but it seems either to be casual dating, hook ups, etc. Plenty of people I know haven’t dated at all at GW-- hookups, yes; dates, no. I only know of one person in my graduating class that is married. It’s not a “wow everyone’s engaged and/or married” school… at all. </p>
<p>Dating can be easily avoided, if desired. Hookups are easy, if desired. Actual dates could happen, if desired… but I wouldn’t say that “most” students are seeking long-term, serious relationships here.</p>
