Or is it just a "special" dorm to boost egos?

It depends on the school you're applying to. Some have different or additional classes, some have priority registration, some include scholarships.

Well, I got into an honors college and I was already given a full scholarship, so I wanna know if there is any upside to going to an honors college. So the only thing that would be different is the course selection?

Check the Honors College webpage at your school. For some schools, it is just more work and a designation. At other schools, it is smaller classes even of usually large Freshmen lectures, registration before even seniors so you get the classes and professors you want, a professor assigned to mentor you, scholarship money for overseas or research, special housing, help navigating the administrative snafus that can occur, and a special place to hang out and call home that gives a large university a more intimate and less intimidating feel. Each college is different in how they structure their Honors Program.

After you read what Honors entails at your university, email someone in the Honors College and ask to be put in touch with a couple of students in your major who are honors students. That will help you get a feel for if whatever extra work is required is beneficial to you.

<_< I don't have a major lol. But ty for the help.

yeah, some colleges give you better housing, study abroad scholarships, etc. Like I think Northeastern U has its Honors kids in a nicer dorm. It just depends on the college
