I know it's obviously with trig. but how much more adv. is it?? is it better to take one over the other? does on look better to colleges?

Honestly I have no idea what Algebra 3 or 4 is, most schools I’ve heard of only have Algebra I and Algebra II.

But either way, a decent knowledge of trig is necessary to go into calculus, and calculus is a great thing to have for college. So I’d imagine the second one would be ideal.

When I had Algebra 3/4, I thought it was Algebra 3 was the basic stuff, and then the 4 part was trig. So… eh?

In most places Algebra 2 is the highest high school algebra course. That being said, I’m pretty sure that Algebra 3 or 4 is equivalent to Algebra 2 in other places. My algebra 2 / Trig class was rather easy and I don’t think I could have tolerated an unbearably slow pace without any trig.

Edit: I just realized 3, 4 must be semesters, which is the same as year 2.

honors alg 2 ( 3/4) with trig is a total joke…took it over the summer in less than a month and ended with a 98 avg.
