Is one better in terms of education between a college that has architecture in its title and one that doesn't? Is it easier to find a good job from one over another because of name or something? What kind of people go to each?
I'm a complete neophyte here so maybe there is a thread already but google doesn't say and the college board has very little information on Boston college of architecture.

You need to look at the specific series of courses offered, job placement after graduation, and exam pass rates for students who take the applicable professional licensing exams. That kind of information will give you a lot more to work.

Within the field, people who hire architects know what schools excel. Whether or not it’s a standalone school, a unit within a large institution, or includes certain words in its name isn’t a factor.

The answer to the title is that a college of Architechture would be its own entity like the college of engineering, or college of business. The college with architechture usually means there is an architechture program within some larger college, could be hosted in different places at different universities. As for job, it depends on the program. Check with the AIA.

Thanks. I guess. Yeah I tend to branch out on questions so just answering the first helps
