What's the difference between Form B and just the FRQ?

On the APcentral site, what is the difference?

Form B is the version administered on the later test date

^Sorry, but you are wrong. Late Test form is never revealed. Form B is for people taking the ap exams outside of the U.S.

^Jerry4445 is definitely right. Form B is the international version.

Oh, but why would there be a Form B??

time difference

Because AP tests are administered on the same date. May 5 in China is 15 hours ahead of May 5 in California. So the people in China taking APUSH would’ve already finished the test by the time the people in the US would take it and they could tell us what questions were on the test. Which obviously wouldn’t be fair. So there are 2 different versions because of timezone differences.

Looks like I’ve been given false information then, because my AP Statistics teacher told me it was the test administered at the later date. Sorry for the confusion :)

Out of curiosity, how does Collegeboard manage the exams when they don’t make a Form B (such as with computer science)?

What about the east and west coast? Isn’t there like a 3 hour time difference too?

Yes, but the testing period is 4 hours long.

Actually, it cuts pretty close, but the west coasters have their phones off by the time our exam ends, so it works out.
