What's the difference between IC and IIC?

What's the difference (in terms of the curriculum) between IC and IIC?

IIC covers math through Pre-Calculus. IC is meant to cover 2 years of Algebra and 1 year of Geometry.

I don't know at this moment the exact differences, but you can find them in the Collegeboard booklet (Taking the SAT II Subject Tests). I do know that the courses you need to have taken differ. If you haven't gone past Algebra 2, you should take IC. If you're currently in precalc or calc, take the IIC. IIC is easier to score well on due to a generous curve.

ahh gracias. why do people take both?

Some people just consider themselves "math people" and don't think they'd do as well on a different subject test.

that's true I guess. thanks for your help everybody
