What's the difference between the Econ BA and the BS?

I'm looking on the requirements page for the two different econ degrees and they look exactly the same. The only difference is that for the BA, one of your five electives has to be a history elective. Am I missing something or is there really almost no difference between the BA and BS?

Now, there is essentially no difference between the BA and the BS, except that you can get the BS without ever taking a history elective. I believe the BA is there for students matriculating before they changed the major requirements (who are now graduating anyway).

Lol, so if you just do the history elective you get a BA and a BS? Kind of an odd way to set it up.
