What's the difference between these three computer majors at UCD?

“Computer Science” “Computer Engineering” and “Computer Science and Engineering”? (All are B.S.) Is Computer Science and Engineering basically both of the others combined? Which should I pick if I want the highest paying salary post college?

Computer science (CS) is software based, and also has a bit more flexibility with requirements due to being in the College of Letters and Science.
Computer science and engineering (CSE) also focuses on software, but has more hardware requirements than CS. You can think of it as focusing on the interaction between software and hardware, in a way.
Computer engineering (CE) focuses on hardware.

Salaries for CS and CSE will be about the same, because you’d be applying to the same kinds of jobs. CE is a a completely different field and I’m not sure how the salaries compare to CS(E) jobs.

Pick whichever you’re more interested in. If you want flexibility for whatever reason, I would go for CS.
