Whats the difference between wharton and huntsman?

They both deal with business, yet huntsman gets its on separate check boxes on the application?

I want to apply wharton for finance and/or other business related courses. should i worry about getting into huntsman?

Huntsman is a program within Wharton that focuses on international business. In addition to your business curriculum, you study a foreign language and geographic region. It is a "close-knit" community within the Huntsman program as you live together for your first year. Even without admission to the Huntsman program (it is highly selective, and you must already be profficient in a foreign language), you could achieve a similar course of study by applying to Wharton and then completing a dual degree with the College in International Relations.

With Wharton you just get one degree. With Huntsman you get a BA in International Studies from the College and a BS in Econ from Wharton.

You should only apply to Huntsman if you excel at a language and are truly interested in international studies (which is cultural, not political).

by excel, i guess only speaking fluently doesn't count?

"Only" being fluent? Speaking another language fluently is fantastic! Although it's nicer if your other language isn't your native language.

ya, but i guess i didn't make the illiteracy part clear. I speak it fluently, but can only read/write with the skills of a 3rd grader
