What's the normal freshman schedule like?

I'm interested in applying as a transfer next year. I know this is extremely difficult so I want to take courses that mirror that of the average Freshman--also courses that would be transferable!

I'm definitely going to be taking these courses Freshman year, but I'm not sure what else to take or what else will be required at the college I decide to go to this year.

Calculus
Economics
Spanish

what college are you transferring to? I know that Arts and Sciences has very different requirements from, let's say, CALS or Engineering. Also, what is your major? Whether you have a science/premed/engineering major or a liberal arts/social science/math major will heavily influence your first year of classes. Science majors have many required courses that they must take at certain times, while the humanities majors are more flexible and will allow you to dabble before settling down.

I'm interested in applying to CALS as an AEM major. I'll probably be going to Syracuse University as a Finance/Management major this academic year. I understand that AEM majors must also fulfill science requirements. Would Biology or Sociology be transferable?

Thanks for the reply!

As a transfer to CALS AEM you need to goto aem.cornell.edu and look at the info they give you for AEM degree requirements. For first year I suggest you take a intro to Bio course unless you have AP credit, and maybe a stats class or microeconomics 101/macroeconomics 102.
you also need calculus credit.
