I want to know. My school doesn't include midterms on mid-year reports, and I have to send them to a few. What's the realistic, honest view of mid-year reports (under diff circumstances - accepted/deferred - types of classes), etc.?

You are thinking too much. Colleges just want to see that you are still doing good in school. That's it.

It depends on which college you apply to or whether you applied early decision II and/or regular decision. I believe it strengthened my application to Wesleyan and help me gain admission because my SAT scores weren't that great.
