Just generally speaking, what is the curve like, meaning how many questions are there in each section and approx. how many do you need to get wrong to get a 36? Numbers for 36, 35, 34 and maybe a couple more would be nice. Obviously it's different every time I'm assuming but I just want some general idea. Thanks!

Go to act.org I'm pretty sure you can find it there. If all else fails, open the free practice test pdf file and the scoring guide at the end will answer all your questions.

It's different with every test and with each section, although generally, within each section it's -1 question = -1 point. It's really harsh at the top, especially on the science section. I think you can miss 1 or 2 (on the entire test, probably in English or Math) and get a 36.

The English section has around 75 questions, Math 60, Reading and Science 40.
