Just wondering what my schedule will look like. I'm undecided within engineering, and will probably be taking Calc 1.

If I had to guess, I would probably say it would be something like

Introductory Engineering Class
Physics
Calc 1
Some english/writing class

Depends on what kind of AP credits you’ll come in with

But a first semester typical schedule, with no credits applied, kinda looks like

Calc 115 - calc 1
Chem 130 - gen chem
Chem 125 - chem lab
Engr 100 or 101 - Intro to engr
and a optional class

you’ll take physics, usually in the winter term, if you didn’t test out of it.

And, no engineers do not have to take a english class.

That is the greatest thing that engineers don’t have to take an english class

What do you need to test out of Physics? I’m taking AP Physics B right now, so I’m guessing I’ll still have to take it?

Yea, engineering only takes 5’s on the Physics C tests.

is it worth taking the credit for c mechanics if i self-study a 5?

If you think you understand it, then just take the credits. It’ll be a lot better than sitting through a class that’ll reteach material you know.
