What's the verdict?

Hmmm… Some rejection letters have already been sent out. I hope that isnt the case!

Nooo, Cody, someone was already rejected here, and they didn’t get it in that order.

You have not been rejected!
Well…I don’t know that, but have faith!
Or else, I’ll have enough hope for all of us!

Zinniamum, I am sorry your Daughter was waitlisted!
Perhaps everything will work out in her favor!

…
All I know is that if I get rejected from JMU, I have … Randolph College and University of Texas at San Antonio to choose from.
I need to be prepared just in case >.<

Does anybody who hasn’t gotten the email consider JMU to be a low match or safety for them?

I would say a match. I actually didnt submit my application before the regular admission deadline. In February, I received a letter from admissions asking if I still wanted to apply. They already had my transcript and SAT scores so I thought I would be easily accepted. Im having second thoughts now since the wait!!

^Hmmm ok. I thought it was a safety for me until I got deferred to RD.

I think there’s hope.

JMU is actually my number one choice.
I visited and thought it was perfect.
However, I know that if I don’t get in…it isn’t the end of the world >.<
I can always transfer in or try out a different school.
Randolph is just as good of a school only less populated, and I’ve already been accepted there.
Bridgewater College and Germanna Community College were my safeties xD

Im not to familiar with RD. Im from Maryland (although I lived in Fairfax, VA for a few years). So far, Ive gotten into Towson, UMBC, and GMU + Cornerstones program and got rejected from University of MD and St. Mary’s college. Maryland accepted 38% people this year and st. marys is hard to get into. JMU isnt the end of the world for me, but I feel like its the best fit. Im keeping my fingers crossed!

I think JMU is a match, especially since I am instate.

I saw the person say he got his online decision.

Damn you MSN Live Team sending me emails!

Well, S. got an email and when we go to [JMU Admissions - Application Status](http://web.jmu.edu/admissions/status.asp) and type in his number, it just says that his application is complete. IS there someplace else we should be looking? Or have we uncovered a bug?

Was the email you received the acceptance email? My application still says

“Thank you for completing your JMU application for admission. The Admissions Committee has begun the evaluation and review process of your application. Admission decisions for JMU’s Regular Process will be mailed and posted online by early-April. You are welcome to ask your admissions counselor specific questions by using the links to the left. We also encourage you to learn more about JMU online by visiting Web sites of interest.”

Go here: <a href=“Browser Check”>Browser Check;

Apparently there’s a pin in the email you got that you need to enter in addition to the Application Reference Number.

It’s a specific email that is sent to you that you should be looking for.
This -> <a href=“Browser Check”>Browser Check; <- is the place you will check, but JMU has to send you the pin first.

The email just says that decisions have been posted online and will be removed after April 30

You beat me to the chase BrekfastChampion!

But anyway…my phone keeps going off with email alerts…none of them have been JMU T_T

It SHOULD have a pin number on it, though…I have yet to receive it.
That’s ALL the email says? D:

Yeah, someone copy and paste the email.

i haven’t gotten the email yet either and i’m getting nervous. i tried typing in the pin number on the site but it just said my application was complete. is there another site i need to go to check it?

We posted the site you’ll need to check multiple times senioritis23 (:

I checked my application status by clicking on a link that was sent by the JMU admissions back in February. It is [JMU Admissions - Application Status](http://web.jmu.edu/admissions/status.asp)

It doesnt require a pin number, just your application reference number. Looking back I dont think I ever received a pin number!

Try here: <a href=“Browser Check”>Browser Check;

My son hasn’t received an e-mail yet. We’re thinking JMU should be safe for him – 3.9 GPA, 6 APs plus Governor’s School, 1360 SATs. Plus Virginia Tech accepted him a month ago.
