Thoughts? Opinions?

Bob Jones University.

I second BJ U

And I third it.

I can't help but add a fourth vote on this one. It may remain unanimous. I was tempted to mention Trump University, but it's not a real college, and even so, it would likely be (dare I say) trumped by Bob Jones in this poll.

Why is it so bad?

Ya, good question

Bob Jones University is a conservative Christian school in Greenville, South Carolina that has all kinds of strange Puritanical residential policies and teaches creationism, etc. I'm not completely sure, but I don't think they're accredited. I've actually met some kids from there and they were fairly pleasant people though perhaps not among the brightest lights on the Christmas Tree. Obviously, I avoided the topics of religion and politics altogether! LOL To each his own ... I imagine there are worse schools, though. You might have to look hard to find them. I might go on a hunt later. LOL

For those who want to read more about Bob Jones....

I just had to add this quote from the article:

"Bob Jones III denounced Ronald Reagan as "a traitor to God's people" for the sin of choosing as his vice president George H.W. Bush, whom Jones called "a devil."'

Bob Jones - hands down. They don't allow jazz music, even comtemporary CHRISTIAN music, but they'll gladly store your gun for you... (it's on their policy and "what to bring" webpages)

Didn't even allow interracial dating until the year 2000!! 2000!!!!!!!! Talk about American Taliban... eat your heart out uc_benz - all these people are "republicans" gag

Even Bob Jones III indirectely denounced Dubya as the spawn of a devil! ROFL

It looks like it became accredited in 2003.

I hope I'm not perceived as a racist for bringing this one up, but there's another South Carolina college worth considering. I think Benedict College's grading policy pretty much speaks for itself ...
[quote]
Benedicts Success Equals Effort (SEE) grading policy, in place since fall 2003, says that freshmen will be guaranteed a passing grade if they put forth a specified level of effort. Swinton said that means taking all tests, promptly turning in all assignments, participating in class discussion, doing all that is asked by the instructors and attending classes regularly.

Freshmen are graded on a scale of 60 percent effort and 40 percent acquired knowledge. For sophomores, the grading policy originally was set at 50 percent effort, 50 percent acquired knowledge, but since the controversy began, that has been adjusted: Now, sophomores must demonstrate 40 percent effort and 60 percent acquired knowledge.

has anyone heard about Finlandia University in Michigan?

Oh ya what was that prostitute college? in SanFran?

BJU once more.....i think it tops the list :)

They're Republicans? Did you look up their voting record? I'd be interested in seeing it. Send it to my e-mail address: fhodz5@yahoo.com

crypto...please....just...stop.......you seriously need to get off the backs of the few individuals in this forum that make you look like a fool...take failure like the man you aren't.

Bob Jones has been traditionally strict, but in recent years have allowed things such as interracial dating in order to gain accreditdation.(sp?) There was recently in article in USA Today about how alot of employers are hiring more from Christian affiliated schools because the graduates actually have morals and a pretty good work ethic.

The title of absolute worst college has to go to Pensacola Christian College in Florida. That school is Facist pure and simple. Check out studentsreview.com's reviews on PCC and you will think its a joke.

Yet another vote for BJU.
