<p>Oh man, I totally know where you're coming from. My boyfriend and I have done a 3-year long distance relationship. Getting into UW for me would of course mean going to a great school, but almost more importantly, getting to finally be with my boyfriend who goes to PLU in Tacoma.</p>
<p>I clicked on "unofficial transcript" and I have a weird id number and it lists some info about me, but it doesn't say if I'm admitted. hopefully I'll find out soon!!!</p>
<p>hmm...what are your stats. I know my friends who have been admitted it usally says something like "Admitted fall 2006" and gives an ID number</p>

<p>I dunno about that whole 8 week thing. I submitted my application in October and still nothing. Their application process is such a toss up.</p>

<p>For anyone who wants to know, it SAID my status was updated on January 20th, but this didn't actually appear on the site until Monday, January 23rd, and I got my letter today, Wednesday, January 25th. (I live right outside Seattle though).</p>

I'm not sure what my first choice school is--I haven't been able to visit most of the ones I applied to so I'm gonna decide once I find out which ones I get into. I applied to Brown, Claremont McKenna, Georgetown-SFS, Johns Hopkins, Macalester, Middlebury, Pomona, Tufts, Whitman and UW. I think all of these schools are really good for IR, although Whitman and Pomona aren't known for it--if I go to Whitman, I'm going to design my own major. I was also considering some other schools like UPenn but I am more interested in the cultural side of IR more than the business aspect so I decided to go with these schools...I know it's a big mix between small colleges and larger universities but seriously I think I'll be happy at any one of the 10!!! I'd be extra happy at UW with all my extra cash!!!</p>
<p>mine updated today, 4.0uw, 2220 sat, 35 act. wa state. i'm in pre-engineering?? anyways, i'm happy cause they had me worried for a while GL TO ALL!! i'm not in honors yet, and my firends have gotten 4k over 2 years already, boo.</p>

Although I applied before the priority date, the application was entered into their database December 1. I don't know if that counts as applying by the priority date.</p>
<p>The status of the application was last changed on December 15 2005. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. My application has advanced to the full review process, and will remain that way until a final decision is made.
Stats:
GPA: 3.69uw
SAT cumulative score: 1601 based on the new SAT, not the old one
I've taken 6 AP classes, 8 years of fine arts, some community service.

<p>^ same here!!! same last updated date & current status!.. my gpa is also 3.69.... i think they prioritize admission by gpa.. because the people who got admitted last week had very similar stats.. 3.8 gpa & 2000+ on new SAT</p>

<p>i doubt they prioritize by gpa because a friend of mine with a 3.5 uw gpa and about 1400 on the new SATs got in already and others with similar stats at my school have also recieved their acceptance letters. I pretty sure it's totally random.</p>
