<p>In the UCI my admissions page it said that freshman need to take an english test if they got less than a 680 on their writing in SAT? </p>

<p>If you keep reading it tells u all the other exceptions so you do not have to take the writing test</p>
<p>also if u pass any of the ap english tests lit or lang</p>

<p>Do i need to take placement test for all other subjects (math, bio…) or is english (as always) the only lame one where i will be needing to take a placement test</p>

<p>you only have to do placement for things you actually want to take classes in. ie: you don’t have to take spanish placement if you don’t intend to take spanish classes</p>
