carlson school of management is a great school if you are looking for internship opportunities if you don’t mind staying in the minnesota weather. the school can’t really compare to the top b schools but they have had amazing employment rates after graduation. can’t say about this year with the horrible economy but the past few years more than 95 percent of their grads get job offers/grad school and often from the fortune 500 companies in minneapolis.

UVA has one heck of a business undergrad program, ranked #1 in U.S World report or something like that (verification?)

2009 US NEWS BEST UNDERGRADUATE BUSINESS PROGRAMS

my brother graduated from upenn, and they have a plan to reduce the debt for all students as much as possible prior to graduation. It seems vague, but i trust it.

as for other business schools, what do you guys think of the smeal college of business at penn state? They are ranked in the top five in actuary science and supply chain/logistics every year, as well as the top 15-20 for accounting, finance, marketing and management.

I’m only saying this because I go to psu haha and i’ll be graduating from the honors college and smeal

UT (McCombs) all the way …combination of low tuition + great education. Both Finance & Acct. Programs very highly ranked & Ill be under around $30-40,000 debt when I graduate (fin aid may vary). Overall its a great school unless you don’t like Texas’s unpredictable weather (which I hate).

Unpredictable weather? It 100 degrees everyday.

100 degrees with isolated thunderstorms starting from 3 pm to late night…whats up with that …Texas needs better weather. I was planning on making a trip to six flags tomorrow (Friday) with couple of friends…since all of us are off on the same day but guess what …its heavy raining tom morrow from 3 on. If it doesn’t rain, that would also be not good b/c then that would mean that the weather was unpredictable and also wasted my day off…oh well at least its got big roads…btw don’t think I am mad @ your comment… I am mad over Texas weather ruining my day off tommorrrow
