This threads for people that are pretty sure theyre going to Emory

Sooo Emory Class of 2015, lets get a jumpstart on knowing each other shall we? I'm a dude from NY who likes music, art, literature. I might major in business law, int business, or poly science. Not really sure. Might minor in philosophy cause i find it to be extremely interesting. I believe the college experience requires a strong social life. So what's up with you guys? interests?

Heyyy! I’m a girl from KY who also likes music, art, literature, etc. I love the arts but I probably won’t major in them. I hope to be involved in them through extracurricular activities though. Right now, I think I plan to double major in Political Science and International Studies and also do pre-med, but that’s all subject to change. I just visited Emory for the first time yesterday at the Open House and I loved it!
I’m so excited for college.

Scratch that lol, I just learned that you can’t double major in Political Science and International Studies at Emory. I guess they’re too similar? Maybe I’ll go for Political Science and a completely different discipline…

hahah, I’m kind of late to the game here, but I’m an Emory 2015er!! For anyone who hasn’t visited, the campus is amazing =)
I’m a girl from the Northeast and I hope to double major in Biological Anthropology and Theater (originally wanted to attempt - and fail - a triple major of bio, anthro, and theater, but they don’t allow triple majors. Probably for good reason, haha). I love theater and music (60’s - 80’s music is my favorite). I also want to join the equestrian (horseback riding) team. Also, I’m hopefully living in Longstreet or Fevans (few/evans) next year.

Can’t wait to meet all of you!

yeah I just got off the waitlist for Emory and accepted the position! Excited to come to Atlanta and see all you guys

Hey fellow Emory2015ers!!! I’m a girl from Aurora, CO. I love music (any kind, as long as it sounds good to me), reading (books that I actually find interesting and not just for assignment), and writing (on what I am passionate about and am able to defend and elaborate on). I’m an easygoing person, yet very resolute. I am thinking of majoring in biology with a minor in political science, because I like politics (for some reason), to take the pre-med track. I have visited Emory multiple times, just to make sure it was the school for me, and I am absolutely excited for what the next four years will hold! I agree college requires a strong social life and also involvement in every other aspect, be it social, academic, extracurricular, and volunteering in order to get the most out of college. I hope to be living in Fevans or Longstreet! Can’t wait for college!
