<p>Is the common app writing section sent to all the schools you apply to? </p>
<p>I know that the individual schools have their own writing sections with unique essay questions, but the Common App asks for a personal statement about your reasons for transferring and what you hope to accomplish..</p>
<p>I find it odd that you cannot write a different essay for each college as it forces you to write a very generic piece of work..</p>
