What's up with sending scores and Score Choice?

I understand the idea behind score choice - basically, if you bomb a test, you can choose that a college won't receive it. But would the college receive it anyway unless you paid to send it in the first place?
This is one thing that is simply evading me about reporting SATI/SATII/AP scores. For instance, if I put down Emory University to receive my SAT scores the first time I took the test, will they also receive my scores from the second take without me specifically naming them again? The College Board says that "if students choose not to use [score choice], all scores will be sent automatically." Does that mean it is not necessary for me to list Emory the second time I take the test? (Assuming I'm not going to mess with Score Choice at all)
This worries me, because I'm seeing how the expenses of reporting all my SAT scores, AP scores, and SAT subject test scores separately is going to add up and become unmanageable unless I only have to pay one reporting fee.

Score choice is specifically for when you have more than one test score (you have taken more than one SAT/SAT Subject Test).

For example, you could choose not to send a 550 in the Chemistry Subject Test and only send a 800 in the Math II Subject Test. If you do not specify (with Score Choice) the CB will send the scores of all previously taken exams.

You must choose Emory as a score recipient each time you take a test, unless you intend on taking another test (or are willing to pay the fee). If you know that you are going to take another test, then you can choose not to send those scores and wait until the next time you test (and get the free score report credits).

You get the option of sending any of your previous exams each time you request an official score report.

So, the schools I put down will get all past reports but will not automatically receive all future reports? (And does this apply to SAT and SAT II together?)

Yes (to both questions).

For example, I will be using tomorrow’s SAT free score reports to also send my SAT Subject Tests scores from May.
