By any chance if it is not published, does it not count? All the hours i put in goes to waste?

<p>I meant published in a scientific journal. It’s not that it “doesn’t count,” just that it may not be competitive with what others are submitting. That said, I wouldn’t worry about it too much. If you think it’s relevant to your academic experience in high school and indicative of your academic interests in college, then I’d submit the abstract.</p>
<p>you also have the option of not sending in a supplement, but including/explaining the research you did in the section about your extracurricular activities. just know that when you send in a supplement, the admissions officer may pass it on to the faculty in the respective department. if you send in an art supplement, it will be sent to our art faculty to evaluate, etc. so the supplement can either help OR hurt you – don’t submit just anything to try to up your chances</p>
