<p>I’ve noticed some of that in the Graduate School forum as well. In a way, I’m thrilled because people tend to ask the SAME questions OVER and OVER again. Usually I do them a favor by doing a quick search and posting links to relevant old threads in my response. I’ve been on that forum for the last…gosh… 3 years so I can recognize familiar threads and remember them. Just seems quicker IMHO than to write out answers… in a way it would discourage new posters (who might read back a few pages to look for a relevant topic) and see my responses that such threads exist and they should search. That equals no threads with topics and concerns that have already been covered.</p>
