What's with the "Your SAT scores are low" on Chance me threads??

Okay, so I've been skimming through chance me threads.

From my understanding, the middle 50 for CR is 630-730 and the middle 50 for M is 670 - 770.

Honestly, I don't see anything wrong with a CR 680 or a M 720.

Agreed, I think that people may tend to compare there scores with each other and not the median scores of the school.

It depends on what school/major. I mean if you’re doing AEM, you better have at least a 1500 and 800 in math.

Edit: I’m not joking :P.
jk

Lol @ jackstile. I hope you are joking.

AEM is a very fit major. If you don’t fit in well, you’d better have those stats.

Versii where do you get this information? Not attacking, just curious.

Well, every single contract college, if not all colleges at Cornell University are fit based. It says it straight on their website and that is generally how they do select students. I am only an applicant, but based on what I have read so far around their site and CC, they are very fit based.

For AEM, so far every acceptance I’ve seen on these boards have really good SATs (800 math and 700+ CR or more). :frowning: ahhhhhhhh. Are there any exceptions anyone can find lol
