I’m a biology major in Queens College and I hope to become a PA. This semester I’m taking a genetics class, microbiology class, and a molecular biology class and I’m doing an EMT program outside of my school as well, and tutoring for pocket money when I can. I thought I would be able to handle all of these perfectly but I couldn’t so I made a decision to neglect one of my classes, molecular, so that way all my other classes don’t suffer which they haven’t luckily. But I’m at a point where I know I’ll get a c or less. My question is, should I keep it and let it take away from my other classes barely to get a c+ in it or retake it in a year when it’s offered again and withdrawal?
I’ve never had a withdrawal from a class and molecular isn’t a prereq for any PA program I know of. My GPA is a 3.7 and my science GPA is a 3.5. One withdrawal won’t ruin my chances right?
