What's worth and not worth to include in the application?

I just had a quick question....

in terms of extracurriculars, are you supposed to list EVERYTHING you've done? for example, my junior year, i served dinner at the Boys Hope/Girls Hope fundraising dinner and i also did Walk for Life and other activities like that. it wasn't anything significant, but it still counted as community service. is it worth it or usless to include minor activities such as these on your applicationor do you just list major activities, such as volunteering 200 hours at a local hospital? it seems to me that if you list small activities that you're just trying to fill up your resume/application. what do you guys think?

Perhaps you could write "miscellaneous volunteering," then total up all the 3 or 4 hour volunteering stints.
