I've seen a couple threads from people who won't give schools a chance since they think it's too much of a drinking/partying school. Well, in the words of Andrew W. K., "It's time to party!" What do you think is the best party school?

Let me clarify. By always drunk, I mean ALWAYS drunk. If you have a hangover and are regretting what you did the previous night, you just pour some whiskey in your cereal and you’ll be feeling better in no time. That’s the Nittany Lion way!

I personally really like parties, but you have to keep in mind that everyone has different tastes, and big party schools aren’t for everyone. Some people prefer a quieter atmosphere.

That said, any D1 football school is going to have a solid party scene.

It’s also fair to acknowledge the fact that there are different types of party schools. There are the traditional frat house/beer pong party schools (such as big 10 schools, as well as schools like Lehigh). Then there are also party schools that are more focused on hip city nightlife (such as UMiami).

ya penn parties actually arent bad despite being an ivy league school. they don’t even charge for entry/beer which is pretty cool. better parties there then drexel.

Wisconsin and Michigan are ranked high and have big party scenes, although UW might be slightly bigger. Michigan’s is still pretty good though, Greek scene and house parties, along with lots of bars in the awesome college town of Ann Arbor.

you guys should check out theu.com, it’s free to register and it has all kinds of short videos for different schools, including the party scene.

Yes, Wisconsin has a good social scene without dominance by frats or any other group. The student union is a real central gathering point unlike at many schools where it is empty at night. Also everything including about 60 bars/clubs are in walking distance so no worry about drunk driving.
