What's wrong with my school?

<p>My school tells me my weighted gpa is a 3.6. I calculated my unweighted gpa using multiple hs and college calculators and came up with 3.6. Why is my weighted gpa and unweighted gpa the same especially when i'm taking all aps!?</p>

<p>something must be wrong with your formula or your school weights classes differently.</p>

<p>Well, I used a couple of online calculators. Plug in the grade for each class and it gives you your unweighted gpa. I don't see how i could have done anything wrong.</p>

<p>I don't see a problem. If all your classes are 3 credits for example, that is exactly how it'd work.</p>

<p>I have had the same problem. My supposed weighted GPA is 3.65. You don't get more credits for AP or Honors classes either. It's lame, I know.</p>

<p>yea, it is, I just wanted to compare my school's weighted gpa and my true unweighted gpa. Unfortunetly, they turned out to be the same</p>

<p>I'm sure your school's student handbook explains the weighted grading system. If not ask for a copy from your guidance office!</p>
