I keep getting rejected from all the jobs i'm applying at( Fastfood, movies etc)
Its not like i have bad communication skills or a criminal record, whats wrong?
All these places are also looking to hire people with big signs outside their buildings saying now hiring, why do i keep getting rejected? Could it be because i look young even though i'm 16?

a lot of places just hired a bunch of students for the summer and are done hiring for a while. they also prefer people with open schedules... could that have anything to do with it?
when you turn in an application try to talk to a manger that day and set up an interview if possible.

i think its hilarious, i got rejected from taco bell and mcdonalds, but i got a job at an investment bank this summer...don't worry too much, its annoying but keep trying, talk to friends who already work there, it really helps

Lots of places are looking for a long-term commitment. They don't want to hire somebody just for the summer, which is what most teens are looking for (even if they don't say it outright-- the teen usually just happens to quit the first week in September), or even if you do plan on working during the school year, you might only end up working part-time or on weekends, as opposed to somebody else who will work full-time and won't have any other conflicts.

Make sure you show up a few days after you turn in your app and say that you're still interested in the job, employers love that. I too turned in dozens of apps with much rejection until a friend told me this is what you had to do.
