M&T? Isn’t that a bank?

Hmmm, well if we’re talking dream schools…

Brown’s open curriculum and pass-fail system, with Tufts’ quirky vibe, and put it all on the Stanford campus. Maybe move the Stanford campus from Palo Alto to Halawa Beach in Hawaii (you should google it. It’s gorgeous). Haven’t quite decided yet. And for prestige, so my parents would be happy, the name could just be “Better Than Your Lame-o School U.” And while I’m at it, if you get in, you get a full ride.

THAT is a school I would ED to.

For real schools? No school is perfect, but Stanford is pretty darn close.

My dream school is Uchicago! I love the core and I’ve been on campus several times. It looks like hogwarts and students are separated into houses and each house has it’s own table in the dining hall. Ugh I sound really superficial but every time I’m on campus I find something new that I love and I connect to it on another level. Like I know I belong there. I’ve also visited classes and done an overnight and although it is challenging I know that I will learn so much. They also have a lot of undergrad research I’m currently trying to decide if I want to go to grad school for research or med school. I was accepted and they gave me almost a full ride so I’m going. I can’t wait!!!

Right now, it’s tied between Penn, Harvard, and Northwestern. All schools I have no shot of getting into, which is just fantastic :((

@MidwestDad3 lol M&T is a specific program at Penn

flyover podunk directional state u

duh

University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School. I’m glad to say ill be going to my dream school!!

I really loved all of my schools, but Vassar stood out among others, and I’ll be attending next year. I also loved Yale, but I didn’t like that it was so spread out, felt more city-like than what I’m comfortable with, has a grad school, and is a bit larger than what I’m comfortable with. I also love Midd, and I especially love the rural environment as I grew up in a very small farming town, but I wish it had easier access to a major city, like Vassar does. I also wish it had more of an artsy vibe. I loved Bennington, too, despite it being one of my safeties.

I don’t like the term “dream school”, though, because that makes it sound like the school is perfect. I feel like if you can’t find at least three flaws with a school, you haven’t done your research. I prefer to replace “dream school” with “favourite school” or “school that seems most suited to you”.

@jinx123445 U of Notre Dame for me. I feel about it the same way you feel about Rice! I have a slim chance of getting in at ND, but if I get that big packet in April, the deposit goes in that day no matter what

It’s a tie between Brown and Rice! I would be lucky to get into either. My fingers are going to be crossed from now til March!
Trying to convince myself my dream school is NYU, but in reality, I don’t have one. I feel like dream schools are for people who actually know what they want to do, haha.
@jinx123445 if you don’t mind me asking, where are you located? I live in Houston, where people are mildly interested in Rice at the most (and mostly because Rice Village is the nicest part of town). It’s interesting to hear someone so excited about it! My friends like to hate on how intense the students looked when they visited. I thought it was pretty neat, though.
UMich and Berkely !
Got into UMich CoE, extremely excited. If i get UCB, ill have a tough decision to make
UCSD a big reach for me
University of Southern California!!!
USC is my dream school but is a reach. I am out of state, but I got into a few other California schools so at least I have the option of being in the area. I just am praying I can get into my dream!
University of Rochester. That being said, I’m pretty much 100% sure that I’m going to get denied. I got accepted to Case Western, though, which is said to be similar to Rochester in many ways, and I couldn’t be happier!
GO YELLOW JACKETS!
COOPER UNION OR DIE
and
CORNELL OR DIE
I applied to 8 other schools(5 safeties…) aside from Cooper Union and Cornell but i only care about these two schools
:-bd
Harvard by far
And then Brown and Vanderbilt
I got rejected by my ED school, Cornell. However, shortly after applying I realized that I don’t want to be an Arts student, which I would have to be if I wanted to study math.
So now, my dreams are JHU and CMU.
Both have solid math programs and give me the freedom to take many electives. I can’t decide between the two because one is the best in the world for Comp. Sci and the other is the best in med.
I want an interdisciplinary approach to my education in Math and both these schools offer that, I also like Brown in this aspect.
Penn state university. Meteorology and math major. I’m in a community college now.
