I'm hitting at Chem 230, Physics 125/127, Chem 211, English 425, and Bio 172. Chem 215 and Bio 173 over the summer.

Anyone know how the well the waitlist for Physics 125 discussions go? :O

are you taking all that in the fall---> chem 230, physics 125/127, chem 211, english 425, and bio 172?

Yeah, I can barely fit it in. It's basically 8:00 to 4:00 or 8:00 - 5:00 every single day. It would be less, but not getting two discussions really messed up my schedule

Cvjn, I hope you're alive, coz we never really got to meet each other this semester after orientation and I don't want the academics to murder you.

CC Runner - have fun in 240. :)

Oh, I'm taking:

Econ 402 - Intermediate Macro.
Math 215 (Calc III)
Econ 330 - American Industry
Anthropology 360 - Race and Human Evolution (For NS and RE credits)

my post got deleted ***.

Biolchem 415
Phys 240
Bio 207
Span 101

Something like that, although I'm most likely gonna change it. Get some easier classes in there.

cvjn, have you taken calc3 already?

Which of these classes are hard and which are easy? Which ones should I take for my first semester?

Math 156
Math 255
Physics 160/161
Physics 260/261
Chemistry 210/211
Engineering 100
Engineering 101
Engineering 110

Also, should I take Chemistry 130 even if I get a 5 on the AP test?

Thanks.

haha BioChem... man that's evil ;)

Yeah MightyNick, we should. You're on Central (more Central than Oxford) next year so we should grab some lunch at the Union or something :)

How was Econ 401? I've heard different things, class being not as hard; just the curve being a pain.

No, I haven't taken Calc III, I don't need to though. I don't believe any of my classes will require it, and I've taken up to Calc II

I only know that Chem 210/211 are regarded as pretty hard, but not impossible.

I got a 5 on my AP test as well, and I still took Chem 130 during my first semester. It's a very good transition class into college, and can give you a good feel into how the university chem dept works. I generally would suggest it if you even feel slightly weak in Chem/Sciences.

what is chem 130?
are you pre-med? If so what Kind of doctor?
were you able to get into the discussions that you couldnt get into earlier? I heard registering is frustrating @ michigan & prob anywhere else.

Chem 130 - General Chemistry.

Anyone else as stressed out as I am right now about exams?

Chem 130 is just the general intro chemistry course that every incoming engineering fresman has to take, unless they get a 5 on their AP test.

I haven't decided if I'm premed, yet.

I'm not sure what discussions you are talking about.

I'm with you CC. My biggest worry now is that I can still theoretically fail like... two of my classes. I still haven't gotten used to the oh my final's 40% of my grade? oh well... crap

Chem 130 is just General Chemistry, it's for anyone, not engineer specific.

And no I did not get into my discussions yet. The dept won't grant me any over-rides, and I'm still 2nd on the waitlist for Physics, and I have to check back like... every so often for P Chem. It kind of sucks. I might have to go there at the start of class to hope I get it.

Cvjn why don't you take Chem 230 over Spring? My friend says its pretty easy, and it will be the last Spring the professor will teach that course. You can take Chem 215 during fall semester since the professor is decent. My schedule:

Chem 215/216
Physiology 201
Chinese 201
Stats 350

You need Chem 215 to take 230 I think.
