What's YOUR game plan? What keeps you going?

Workers’ Revolution.

Lol interesting points bump!

How do I keep going?
It’s my junior year - my freshman and sophomore years were okay (mix of A’s and B’s), but I want to do even better this upcoming year!
What keeps me from being lazy?
A fear that doors and opportunities have closed because of my laziness my freshman and sophomore years. I don’t want to be the reason that I lose more opportunities.

For me learning from my mistakes will make me keep going.

Last year I hated the school I was at and just gave up i went from a 3.7uw the first two quarters and managed to finish with a 3.14 uw. The feeling absolutely sucks to know you put in a lot a work and then threw it out. It will never happen again.

My gameplan: finish my last 2 years of high school with the best grades I can, with huge dedication to my extracurriculars, but overall a great high school experience. I want to do extremely well, but not work so hard that I’m burnt out before college even starts. I want to go to college and major in something like special education or therapy… then grad school and major in psychology.

I’m motivated by the thought that one of the smartest, most inspiring people I have ever known, my grandfather, won’t get to see me achieve any of these things… but I know I can’t let him down because I need to continue his legacy and make him proud up there.

Soccer would be nice…

Study mega hard for ACT/SAT and keep my gpa as high as it already is. Boost up ECs in other categories, mainly more volunteering hours. Once again, work my ass off prepping for ACT/SAT. Then, get into a good school in california, hopefully USD or a decent UC, worst case scenario go into a CC that leads into a good UC to keep gpa high and get business degree. Do internships every year in college and get set up with a good job. Meet a hot secretary and live happily ever after.

My Game Plan: Finish High School with High Honors, go to undergraduate school for a science (haven’t decided yet. Most likely Biology or Physics) with a minor in Music, possibly apply to medical school, or perhaps get my MA in Theoretical Physics. I might even get my teaching degree.

What keeps me going is that I don’t want to be an idiot. Also, this website. Seriously. Looking at this website makes me think I have to live up to all of these crazy standards.

High school game plan: finish senior year with a 3.95 UW GPA (rising sophomore). Score 2250+ on the SAT.

College: I want to double concentrate/double major (with a minor where available) in something like Biology/Philosophy, Econ/Philosophy, or Journalism + International Relations or Poli Sci. If I go with Bio, I want to attend med school and go into research. After school, I want to move back to Seattle, get an apartment, and start working. Unless I decide to go the Journalism route, then I’ll probably move to NYC and try to find a job working for Rolling Stone or a position as an overseas correspondent.
