I'm betting you that the people bringing those overall statistics of obesity up aren't your average teenage girl.

anyways, everlane, don't give up hope! I'm 4'11.5" and 15.5 years old my doctor said I should grow at least little more. I think I'll be content as long as I hit at least 5'1".
My mom's side of the family is tall and my dad's is short, so I guess I got my dad's genes, lol. My 2 aunts on my dad's side are 5'3" and 5'1". But I have two cousins who were the same hieght as me at this age and are now 21 and 20 and both are 5'2".

Plus, your slimmer than me, and on our frames even a few pounds looks like a lot. lol.

(of course, I posted in here, too... twice.... although one post was a joke that, sadly, no one picked up on. I thought it was pretty funny. Erm..)

5'0'' 98 pounds. I've put on 10 pounds of pure fat, all in my stomach area, this year. And before you start about how I'm "anorexic," note that I have a TINY frame.

I work really hard to gain weight. I hit the 100 lb mark for the first time in my life during Sophomore year. Unfortunately, I've lost it all because of stress.
