I decided to make this thread to ask all of you what your "passion" was. In addition to just stating it, write out the activities that you do related to it. That way we can see if your passion shows or not. =P

Anyway, mine is music. I play guitar in 3 different jazz bands, am an award-winning concert classical guitarist, play guitar in my school's chorus/theater productions (recently Grease), work with audio engineering/recording, sing and play lead guitar for my own band, and I even work with professors from an Ivy League university to study the effects of music on the mind.

Historical economics and studying the evolution of capitalism. I am working with a professor on a book on the subject. Basically, my girlfriend calls the research my "new girlfriend" as I enjoy spending so much time on the subject.

Photography. I have grown my portfolio and taken a workshop with two professional photographers who both were astounded at my work...and hopefully will take it even further this summer.

Horseback riding.
Although I pretty much suck at it and can only spend about one afternoon a week on it, I really love it. It's more or less what keeps me sane.

In fact, I'm writing this as I am receiving severe weather reports from Nebraska at the National Weather Service headquarters in Silver Spring...

I absolutely love piano. I've been playing since 3rd grade, but unfortunately I had to quit lessons in 8th grade due to sports, so I can't even put it on my college app. It's crazy though, whenever I get my hands on new music, I spend hours trying to master the pieces (nerdy, I know)
