What's your ratio of reaches/matches/safeties?

8 reaches
1 match
1 safety (full ride)

seriously.

go big or go home.

I would advise to have more matches than many of you have. Say, for intance, you just miss your reaches (waitlists) it would suck to have to fall all the way back on your safeties.

7 reaches, 6 safeties, 0 matches...stupid I know but a one of my safeties really should be a match but my school has an awesome relationship with this college, and another safety should also be a match but isn't really because of my SAT score combined with my school's relationship with this college.

1 high reach
3 low reaches
1 match
2 safeties

With the exception of one of my safeties, I'd probably be happy anywhere. I definitely have a first choice (a lower reach, actually, not the highest one), but it'll probably come down to how much aid I get, unfortunately.

Same with me, phantasmagorical. I actually really love one of my safeties but I probably won't end up going because I think might get into one of my reaches, which will give 103095830x better aid.

6 Reaches
4 Match
3 Safeties (1 REALLY safe safety)

My first choice, statistically speaking is a match (especially since it's my ED school)...we'll see what happens.

11 schools

3 crapshoots (Yale, Penn, Columbia)
2 reaches (Georgetown, WashU)
1 reachishmatchish thing (Tufts)
2 matches (Emory, BC)
1 low match (GW)
2 safeties [Pitt (already in w/ full tuition), state flagship]

9 total:1 Reach 6 Match 2 Safety

7 Reach
1 Match
2 Safeties

5:3:1 reach/match/safety. already in at safety.

7 reaches
1 match
1 safety

3 reaches
3 matches
2 safeties

i'd say 3-3-2

4 reaches
2 safeties

3 matches
1 safety

3 reaches, one of them being ED
4 matches
3 safeties

6 Reaches
1 Match/Low Reach
1 Match
2 Safeties (Already in)

Luckily, I would be extremely happy attending my match (Boston College) or one of my safeties (University of Texas at Austin)

2 reaches
1 high match
2 matches
2 safeties

1 reach
1 high match
1 match
1 safety

(and 2 others I applied to just because it's free... I guess like "super-safeties" or something?)

10 Reaches
1 Match
1 Safety

I"ve already gotten into my safety (Arkansas), and a reach, Michigan, which I was suprised about. I figure as long as I can go somewhere I"m happy with, why not go for the gold. Haha
