What's your reading speed?

Here's a quick test that measures it:

http://www.readingsoft.com/

Let's see what kind of scores CCers will get.

I question this page's accuracy, but..

550 wpm, 82% comprehension.

Boy, I'm a slow reader: 254 wpm at 82%

233 wpm

91% comprehension

yea, im slow.

Oh yeah, mine was 261 at 82%. I missed the running/racing questions

780 WPM with a 82% comprehension. I missed the race driver and reading seminar ones.

305 wpm and 100% comprehension but some of those questions were just common sense

^lol, yeah. I sort of could have had the same "comprehension" without even reading any of the passage.

7 million WPM (+ or - a certain margin of error).

I win for slowest reader!!! Yay! Something to be proud of. 187 WPM and 91% comprehension.

It explains why I never finish the reading sections of standardized tests.

896 wpm 91% comprehension.

15493 WPM with 91% "comprehension".

I wonder how well performance on this test correlates to CR scores. people who took the test.

What was your CR score vs. reading comp test score?

780 WPM with a 82% comprehension.

and I had a 740 CR.

I had 550 WPM with 82% comprehension.

My CR score is 640 (lowest of my 3 subscores unfortunately).

712 WPM, 82% comp, 730 CR

700 wpm...82% comprehensions...750 Verbal

I found it hilarious that they are basically attempting to brainwash you into buying their product throughout the passage.

627 WPM at 82% comprehension (note that this can only be measured in increments of 9%), 710 Verbal

559 WPM with 100% comprehension. I got 72 CR on the PSAT but I don't think it's fair to compare because I don't even read the PSAT or SAT passages, I just go back to find the answer after reading the question.
