What's Your Safety?

Who says he wouldn’t be honored? Dude, if he wants to think of Choate as a safety, let him. Who cares? C’est ne pas grave – it’s not a big deal. It’s called an opionion for a reason.

latin555 and divealive-- (your names rhyme! yay!) we should totally make a seventh graders club! that everybody else can join too!

Right now, I’m thinking of Choate, Exeter, Andover, SPS, Deerfield, Lawrenceville, etc. But I don’t know much-- only what I’ve read here and on their websites. So it’s all subject to change once I know more! So excited to start, though! How about you?

LOL. if i post a list of schools i’m interested in, there’d probably be like, 20+. so many great schools out there…

i’m looking into schools with huge FA budgets/history of generosity. so right now … my list consists of (my minimized list. my real one would be like … pages and pages. not really, but y’know) Andover, Exeter, Deerfield, NMH, Loomis (just because), and maybe Milton.

choate & l’ville & middlesex & hotchkiss are tempting, too!
YES. a 7th grader club! HAHA. i sound so immature. but oh well :D

have you taken the SSATs (lower level) yet? any extra-curricular activities you’re particularly interested in?
(i sound like an interrogator. i hope you don’t mind)

Yah! There are so many wonderful Boarding Schools to choose from. I would focus on the fit. While he academics are important the fit is imperative.

Hey DiveAlive, are you going to enjoy watching us open our letters in 17 days! You’ll only have 365 left! HAHA!
-I’m mean :(

I’m excited to see everyone on here get their letters! Weak with jealousy as well, of course, but excited all the same!

I haven’t taken the upper level SSAt yet, but I took the lower level last year and I got high 90s in math and verbal. I don’t know how it translates, though. Lol interrogator… but yeah, I’m pretty into the arts. How about you, DiveAlive?

@ benevolent: LOL. pshh! well, i’m excited for you guys, too, because then (if i get in a school that one of you gets into…) i might um. meet somebody on campus eventually ?! haha. okay, nevermind. but y’know, i’ve gotten to know quite a few people on CC & i’d like to see where they got in… sort of a statistic reference obsession, on my part~

@ wickedcrazy:
i took the lower level this year! i got like, 90 in math, mid-80 in verbal, and i bombed reading comprehension. :x i got 80 overall, ack!
that doesn’t help, since i’ve heard the upper level is alot harder and there are more people taking it ? (since BS normally starts in grade 9) thus… distorted percentiles. :(

what did you get in reading comprehension?
& i love the arts, too! especially dance… the only sports that i like are diving, badminton, and cross-country, teehee.
hmm. so, have you started SSAT prep, yet? (i admit that i haven’t. i need to do lots of RC exercises though, blergh)

I actually haven’t done any SSAT prep either-- I have done a little SAT prep though, for talent search.

I loooove theater, and writing. I’m looking foward to that about BS, and the only sport I really like is soccer-- but I love it! Eep! BS! I dream about it at night…

what are you looking for in a school?

after all this stuff, i think my safety has become my challenge lol. I was aiming for Exeter, but i keep second guessing myself and i dont think im even going to get into Choate Rosemary(my safety)
