What's your typical school outfit?

I’m a guy.

Basically what happens at my school, although I can’t say that I don’t like it.

polo or j. crew button downs, american apparel hoodies, khakis and top siders.

Jersey you’re a slut

winter: Jeans & Sweater/Sport shirt
summer: Plad Shorts & v-neck tee

cardigans, v necks, skinny jeans, flats, unitards, silk shorts, skirts, cute dresses…

Ahh, sorry Jersey. I don’t know why I put girl on the end. Is there another user named JerseyGirl? Sorry about that!

The typical girl here wears a sundress, gladiators, and shades or a necklace.

My style is more Bohemian-chic and I recommend stores like Nordstroms and H&M to help you get started with assembling a functional wardrobe. They offer a solid variety of styles, so those are my go-to stores for basics.

Thanks guys. What shoes do you wear? (Some of you said but others did not) Thanks.

^ I wear flats mostly. When it’s warm everyone wears sandals and flip flops, even though flip flops aren’t allowed at my school, the rule is ignored.
Converse sneakers are common.
Uggs and boots are popular in winter, if you’re in to that kind of thing.

My favorite shoes are Repetto flats, flat leather boots in cognac/dark brown/black, little black biker boots, Minnetonka booties, and simple flat sandals in the spring/summer.

How about you walk into something called a store and find something that appeals to you rather than clinging to what people like?

personalized uniform. :)

Ouch.

Don’t worry about it lol.

Typical cardigan (<3) and skinny jeans with ballet flats.

shoes: converse, keds KNOCKOFFS, flats

Generally, I wear a blazer or cardigan with a top underneath; the types of tops I wear vary widely. For bottoms, I like wearing print skirts or dark wash jeans. Occasionally, I will wear slacks just because. My clothes come from a variety of places: thrift shops, H&M, Lord & Taylor, Daffy’s, et cetera. However, I do give a lot of preference to H&M clothes because they’re among the rare types that actually fit.

Dresses are avoided at all costs unless they fit well, which is usually never the case. Unfortunately, my shirt size is twice as small as my pant size. Stupid genes.

When I go to work, however, it is strictly whatever jeans are ironed + t-shirt of the day. My work shoes are these nice boat shoes I found in the basement that miraculously fit me. For school, I wear shoes - the understated kind. No gladiator sandals for me, you understand.

Don’t worry about what to wear. If you’re comfortable in your clothes, then go for it.

I usually wear skinny jeans, cardigans, polo shirts, blouses, and hoodies. I also wear Abercrombie t-shirts a lot. For shoes, I wear driving moccasins, ballet flats, converses, and uggs.

warmer days: t-shirt and jeans

colder days: t-shirt + sweater/coat and jeans

All the clothes in my closet match/don’t look stupid together so it’s super efficient. XD I wake up and put whatever I see first on.

T-shirt and shorts (usually these nice red shorts that I have that go with any colored t-shirt except for red/pink) and flip flops or sneakers.
In the colder months, I’ll wear a fitted long-sleeve tee with jeans or something.

Does anybody know any boots that a freshman girl could wear in the winter other than Uggs? I think they’re ugg-ly, haha. I don’t wear heels, by the way. Ever. Haha. I want stylish boots but something that a freshman would wear.

Polos, jeans, and flip flops. If I get a job, I’ll dress up a little more.
