wheeeeee

ok this is the most random question i will likely ever ask
i'm applying for sophomore year in boarding schools, and i'm living my freshman year right now, with no intentions to repeat

anyways, here, we have cheerleading as a sport. i didn't do it this year, but was planning to try it out (I'm "flexible", lol) in whatever boarding school i may go to (given that I am accepted at any of my schools)

HOWEVER, none of them actually have it as a sport. i searched bsr and found schools that did offer it, but none of them were mine and I am not so passionate about cheerleading that I will drop a school for another one i know nothing about

any students going to boarding schools want to drop some info on this? very appreciated :D

If they don't have cheerleading, I'm sure they have stunting and dance groups- such as a spirit group or some such.
They may be a little goofy, or maybe even too "into it" for a casual person, but they're there.

cheerleading isn't generally part of the culture at private schools in the northeast. Nor are marching bands. You might see a half-hearted jokey attempt, but not as a real sport the way it is in some parts of the country.

yay
i'm more happy that someone responded LOL

thanks saer
whatever, wherever ill go ill force my friends to do weirdly choreographed routines with me :D :D

I heard Deerfield has some sort of cheerleading group, except it's not very official and the "cheerleaders" aren't exactly the kind of cheerleaders you would think of.

cheerleading is a club at my school, not a sport.

Its a sport at every school in Georgia, probably the south in georgia. Or atleast im guessing it is, there are always girls cheering at everything and they consider themselves athletes so I guess its considered a sport here.
